Wakefield Soccer Association

Pre-K / Kindergarten

NOTE: The Tots soccer program will be run by Coach Mackenzie - more details will be announced by August 12.

The framework for each of the two intramural seasons, spring and fall, will be designed and run under the guidance of our full time Director of Coaching and executed with great care by all of the volunteer coaches. Although this is a recreational league, there is a week to week practice curriculum in which coaches are educated on the finer points to help advise kids at all levels.  The curriculum for Pre-K and K includes focused skill development followed by small-sided games, 4 players on each ‘side’ (4 v 4) and no goalkeepers.

We highly recommend that players stay in the correct program that corresponds with their age and grade in school.

Age recommendations for these programs:

  • Pre-K - 3.5 to 5 years old
  • Kindergarten - 5+ years old

During all Wakefield Soccer Association Pre-K programs, parents/guardians of players are required to remain on site and accessible at all times.

Not sure where to go for Week 1?  Find your team's field number by looking at the assigned team name.  The field number is appended to the team name.   You will be at that same field for the whole season.
