Meet your WSA Director of Fundraising
Kara McLellan

The Director of Fundraising is responsible for conducting any non-registration activities related to generating revenue for WSA.  It is a non-voting board position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend Finance Committee meetings, as needed, in order to share any information related to fundraising activity and/or request support needed

  • Recruit/manage sponsors

  • Collaborate with rest of BOD to provide insight and execute on potential fundraising opportunities 

  • Collaborate with President and BOD on long term vision for fundraising

  • Source and organize volunteers as needed in support of fundraising activities

Special Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to provide direction to others

  • Ability to establish and manage execution of plans

  • Ability to use sound judgment

  • Ability to write press releases through various social media platforms

Time Commitment: Generally 4-6 hours per month.
