The Director of Fundraising is responsible for conducting any non-registration activities related to generating revenue for WSA. It is a non-voting board position.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend Finance Committee meetings, as needed, in order to share any information related to fundraising activity and/or request support needed
Recruit/manage sponsors
Collaborate with rest of BOD to provide insight and execute on potential fundraising opportunities
Collaborate with President and BOD on long term vision for fundraising
Source and organize volunteers as needed in support of fundraising activities
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to provide direction to others
Ability to establish and manage execution of plans
Ability to use sound judgment
Ability to write press releases through various social media platforms
Time Commitment: Generally 4-6 hours per month.
