Please complete the steps below to prepare for the upcoming season. 

Step 1:  Volunteer to Coach in the WSA Sports Connect registration system
                  This must be done EVERY SEASON and for EACH DIVISION you would like to coach.

Step 2:  Complete the MYSA Adult Registration Process HERE 
                  All coaches are required to register with MYSA for the new soccer year (Fall 24  - Spring 25)
                  MYSA registration must be done via link above. 
                  Training courses can be done via your registration account, Volunteer tab.
   Tip: If you have to retake the concussion course, take the Intro to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments. 

Step 3:  Pick up your credentials during These Pick-Up Dates/Times

Step 4:  Set up the Mojo app on your cell phone .

Step 5:  Attend pre-season coaches meeting:   
                   Travel coaches: 
                               Field Sessions:  6:30 pm on Aug 21 in the Civic Center Gym, and Aug 28
                               General Meeting:   Aug 21, Heritage Room, Americal Civic Center
                                                          New Coaches:  7:30 - 8:00 pm
                                                          All Coaches: 8:00 - 8:45 pm                       
                   
                    Intramural Coaches:  8/28  Field Session followed by Zoom meeting

• New coaches - Attend ECYSA NEW Coaches Meeting:   TBD

• Make sure that your own photo is in the Essex/MYL system  
  • Need some help in logging  in to MYL?  See HERE or email  [email protected]
  • If you'd like to print out your own coaching card, it must be in COLOR (required).
  • If you cannot print it, you can get it up when picking up other items. 
• Print out your game cards and some blanks ones to have on hand.   
  • Print them from the MYL system.  Print a couple for each game (just in case).
• Is your photo roster complete? 
  • A new roster is needed for each season. Coaches can not print out photo rosters.  Only Wakefield admins can. 
  • To view your current roster, log into  Essex/MYL system, click on the Coaches menu, then click on the team name.
